MMA, acronym for "Microwave Materials and their Applications," is a series of biannual conferences held worldwide since 2000. These events bring together industry and academic experts in the field of microwave materials and their applications. This dynamic exchange promotes the alignment of academic research with industry demands. It also provides students and young researchers with the opportunity to acquire essential skills.
The next edition of the conference will focus on several important scientific themes, particularly those related to the future of mobile telecommunications and the requirements for associated devices.
Participations may therefore focus on:
Material development: This includes various types of materials such as dielectric, magnetic, conductive, ferroelectric, piezoelectric, and multiferroic, in various forms such as films, ceramics, composites, 2D materials, textiles, metamaterials…
Microwave characterization techniques: Participants will delve into new techniques, optimization, calculation, simulation, and modeling methods for materials and structures characterization.
Microwave devices and applications: The conference will cover the entire process from the design and fabrication to device measurement for extended (actual and future) microwave applications (antennas, sensors, absorbers, packaging, ...)
Other emerging themes and techniques: are targeted here, for examples, cold sintering and room-temperature fabrication, 3D printing and other emerging fabrication/integration technologies for microwave devices...
